As part of a larger vision for the urban improvement of the Edwardian Business District of Ballard Estate in Mumbai, the project entailed re-conceiving pockets of neglected urban spaces as integrated Service Courts and Hawker Plazas for the area. The Pilot project also resulted in the design and implementation of cast iron street furniture along the historic business district.
