This project entails the conservation and interpretation of the Krishna Temple, a National Monument within the World Heritage Site of Hampi. The conservation master plan for the 16th Century temple built by Krishnadevaraya, the most outstanding of all rulers of the Vijayanagara dynasty was prepared in 2006. The implementation of works is being undertaken through a collaborative partnership between the various institutions and agencies through the National Culture Fund.
