Prepared the Nomination Dossier & Management Plan for the Qutb Shahi Monuments of Hyderabad for submission to UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Hyderabad, as the last bastion of the Deccani Sultanate until the mid 17th century, provides a unique testimony to the culture and architecture of the Qutb Shahi dynasty. The Golconda fort, home to the world famous Golconda diamonds, the Islamic landmark of Charminar and the monumental Qutb Shahi Tombs are landmarks of Sultanate architecture. The project involved the preparation of a Nomination Dossier as well as a detailed Management Plan for the future conservation and management of these historic sites.
