The historic State Durbar Hall Kapurthala built by Maharaja Jagatjit Singh of Kapurthala is another unique Indo Saracenic monument built in the Sikh tradition, with grand interior spaces for public functions. The project funded by Asian Development Bank involves the comprehensive structural conservation, exterior and interior restoration and adaptive reuse of this historic durbar hall as a public hall and a state archives for Kapurthala princely records.
