A comprehensive conservation project aimed at the restoration of one of the finest Neo Gothic Victorian structures, a Grade I heritage structure designed by Sir Gilbert Scott.
Designed by Sir Gilbert Scott, the 19th century Victorian Neo Gothic Convocation Hall is one of the finest Victorian buildings in India. The project involved structural consolidation of the roof and stone vault, exterior and interior restoration, electrical upgradation, wire management, acoustical design as well as the restoration of the original furniture, Minton tiles, Burma teak balconies, gold leaf gilding, and Victorian stained glass.
