Complete Restoration and Interior Design, Signage, Furniture & Services Design and Supervision for the Vice Chancellor’s Office in the historic Fort Campus of the University of Mumbai. The administration block of the University of Mumbai is set in the Grade I heritage campus of the Fort designed by George Wittet. The false ceilings and ad hoc partitions were removed to reveal a magnificent historic roof. The original Burma Teak rafters and ceilings were carefully restored and the Victorian furniture designed by Sir Gilbert Scott was rescued and painstakingly restored. The refurbished offices of the Vice Chancellor blend the historic interiors with state of the art services and air conditioning, highlighting historic and contemporary furniture to create a stunning space.
